The Fire Protection Engineer provides engineering design support and subject matter expertise in fire protection, life safety, building and fire codes, fire hazard and risk assessment, fire and smoke spread, fire detection, alarm and sprinkler system design, industrial fire hazards, fire investigation support, and other facilities engineering expertise. Perform hazardous material analysis for code compliance purposes, such as chemical classification, chemical maximum allowable quantity analysis, chemical inventory management, and related system design support.
