96 FSS consists of 9 Flights overseeing more than 30 facilities/activities to include child care, before-and-after school youth programs, family day care, dining facilities, lodging, outdoor recreation, golf course, library services, equipment rentals, fitness centers and Airman and Family Readiness Center. This combining of similar functional areas that already worked closely together created the Force Support structure, intended to streamline processes, maximize customer service, and cut the Air Forces costs of maintaining separate organizations.
