This level independently repairs and overhauls a variety of gasoline, diesel and alternative fuel vehicles and equipment that are part of the City's fleet that includes but are not limited to the following: light vehicles and equipment (i.e., cars, light to medium trucks, etc.), construction equipment (i.e., front end loaders, paving machines, etc.), and heavy vehicles and equipment (i.e., refuse trucks, dump trucks, etc.); and performs other related duties as required. This level independently repairs, maintains and overhauls a variety of heavy motorized vehicles and/or equipment in the Citys fleet (such as refuse trucks, dump trucks, cranes, bulldozers, rollers, graders, etc.), as a substantially full-time assignment; and performs other duties as required.
