Mobile Food Pantry Worker Essential Functions: • Develop and maintain constructive, cooperative working relationships with peers, supervisors, clients, vendors, and partner agencies • Demonstrate and maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times • Provide courteous and professional customer service to pantry clients • Assist with data collection and reporting as required • Assist with PantryTrak data entry when necessary • Answer telephone calls professionally, route calls appropriately, and take messages as needed • Assist with food distribution setup and breakdown • Compile and distribute food boxes in a kind, respectful, and professional manner • Maintain confidentiality of all client and program information • Drive the Mobile Food Pantry truck three (3) to four (4) days per week to remote food desert areas of Pike County • Assist with daily pantry operations including unloading trucks, stocking shelves, and general site support • Complete food and household item inventory and temperature checks • Lift and carry items weighing up to forty (40) pounds. Working Conditions: • Work schedule and locations vary based on program needs and supervisor discretion • Requires driving to remote locations within Pike County • Physical requirements include lifting up to 40 pounds and frequent standing, walking, and bending • Work attire required per departmental guidelines.
