1-2 years of previous experience in maintenance within food production or manufacturing environment Working knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and electrical and mechanical systems Ability to read, analyze and interpret repair manuals, parts catalogues, blueprints, technical procedures, safety rules, operation/maintenance instructions and procedure manuals Can diagnose and articulate equipment and repair needs to varying levels of key stakeholders Strong organizational skills, attention to details, and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines Ability to deliver information in a clear and concise manner to a varying level of key stakeholders Ability to make informed visual diagnoses of building damage and wear, developing and implementing plan for timely correction Demonstrated, advanced proficiency in the proper use of a dumpster, baler, forklift, box cutters, small power tools, hand tools, and other related equipment Basic understanding of manufacturing operations, supply change management, environmental health and safety Basic computer skills; proficiency in select Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); and ability to learn custom applications Ability to work well with others, self-motivated, and capable of working independently with little supervision Ability to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the facility, including nights, weekends and holidays as required.
