The desired candidate will: work and communicate with Homicide Panel attorneys providing guidance and legal advice with respect to legal and forensic issues developed during the course of representation; provide high-quality training, mentoring, and coaching of the Homicide Panel attorneys throughout New York City; assist in retaining the best and most appropriate experts such as investigators, social workers, mental health professionals, DNA experts, Digital Forensic Analysts; accident reconstruction experts, medical examiners, and mitigation and sentencing professionals; observe hearings and homicide trials; and . Admission to the New York State Bar; and four years of recent full-time responsible, relevant, satisfactory legal experience subsequent to admission to any bar, eighteen months of which must have been in the supervision of other attorneys, in an administrative, managerial or executive capacity, or performing highly complex and significant legal work.
