 Frontier Construction is looking for a new carpenter to join our team. We handle primarily exterior remodels and additions, including things like exterior porches and decks, cabanas, and other additions like pool houses and garages. We work primarily for high end clients so we get to build some beautiful structures with lots of detail and expensive finishes. If you enjoy being challenged, taking your time to get details just right, and finishing a project that you can be proud of, this is the job for you. We are primarily a frame to finish carpentry company, not a production framing crew. Enjoy your craft, don't get worn down doing the same thing day in and day out.   Ideal candidate would have several years of experience as a carpenter, capable of everything from foundation layout and framing to cabinetry install and finish trim. Attitude and ability to learn are everything, we strive to always learn from the current project and do the next one better.  Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities  <ul><li>Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and to understand project specifications</li><li>Take measurements and calculate the sizes and amounts of materials needed for the project</li><li>Build window frames, doors, staircases, frame buildings, and other structures by using raw materials or pre-constructed items</li><li>Install hardwood floors, siding, cabinets, drywall, tile, and insulation</li><li>Inspect products and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed</li><li>Comply with all company and governmental safety guidelines</li></ul>Carpenter Requirements and Qualifications  <ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent</li><li>Completion of a carpentry program at a vocational school or carpentry apprenticeship preferred</li><li>2+ years of professional carpentry experience a plus</li><li>Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, including installation and construction</li><li>Proficient in using electrical and hand tools as well as measurement tools</li><li>Able to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings</li><li>Good physical condition, stamina, and dexterity</li></ul>

The Custom Services Associate will do this by acting as a representative of our company to the public handling all customer contact in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. The Custom Services Associate is responsible for driving revenue by providing excellent customer service, knowledge of Fine Art Printing, Archival Framing and an eye for design. In addition, the associate is to assist in maintaining a neat, clean, organized workshop, design counter, and sales floor. Responsibilities include,<ul><li>Consistently demonstrate superior customer service through product knowledge, design skills and other talent that will exceed customer expectations.</li><li>Complete and utilizes the Blick training program, consistently signs up new preferred customers and can special order items for customers.</li><li>Have a positive attitude, is willing to learn, solve problems and make decisions regarding customer satisfaction.</li><li>Ensure adherence to all company policies/procedures as well as loss prevention guidelines.</li><li>Has the ability to process customer transactions in the framing software and store POS.</li><li>Assist in merchandising of the store and Custom Services. When going on an install it is important to listen carefully to project lead and be able and willing to lift and carry works of art. The job requires using multiple tools including a chop saw, sander, and pneumatic underpinner.

We are looking for an individual to cut and join frame moulding to create picture frames. The job requires using multiple tools including a chop saw, sander, and pneumatic underpinner. Must be comfortable using all equipment and willing to follow all safety rules. The finished product needs to be precise and clean. This person may also accompany a principle from the company on art delivery and installations as needed. RequirementsCandidate must be comfortable using power tools. Must be able to accurately read measurements to the 1/16". Accuracy and attention to detail is critical. Individual needs to be able to take direction and work independently as needed. When going on an install it is important to listen carefully to project lead and be able and willing to lift and carry works of art. Should be able to lift at least 100lbs as a team lift.
