The ideal candidate is a strong communicator and problem-solver with solid knowledge of operational finance, supply chain fundamentals, and international trade — someone who can navigate complexity, support strategic planning, and continuously improve processes while maintaining smooth, compliant day-to-day operations.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Management<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Lead, mentor, and develop the Order Management and Logistics teams, ensuring accountability, clarity, and operational excellence.</li><li>Promote a positive, collaborative culture that reflects Riedel’s values of innovation, accountability, and teamwork.</li><li>Represent Riedel Communications Americas in cross-functional projects and global initiatives, acting as the liaison between regional operations and worldwide leadership.</li></ul>Operational Execution<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Oversee the full order lifecycle — from order entry and validation through delivery, invoicing, and documentation.</li><li>Manage all aspects of logistics, including domestic and international shipments, freight forwarding, and carrier coordination.</li><li>Oversee purchasing and vendor relationships, including freight partners, suppliers, and operational service providers.</li><li>Maintain smooth daily office operations and effective communication between Sales, Service, Finance, and HQ teams.</li><li>Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying bottlenecks, implementing solutions, and driving operational efficiency.</li></ul>Financial & Strategic Responsibilities<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Assist Finance and Controlling teams with purchase order management, basic cost analysis, invoice approvals, budget inputs, and reconciliation of expenses.</li><li>Develop, track, and report on KPIs for the Operations team to align performance with organizational goals.</li><li>Actively contribute to strategic planning, annual budgeting cycles, and long-term capacity planning for the Operations department.</li></ul>Trade, Compliance & Risk Management<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>Ensure compliance with applicable U.S. and international regulations, including Customs, import/export rules, and documentation accuracy.</li><li>Apply working knowledge of tariff classifications, Incoterms, HS codes, and valuation requirements.</li><li>Monitor changes in trade regulations and provide proactive guidance to internal teams when relevant.</li><li>Coordinate with Riedel HQ in Germany on production schedules, inventory allocations, and export documentation.</li><li>Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements across operational areas.</li></ul>Qualifications<ul style="margin-top:0in"><li>5+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or order management — ideally within a technology, manufacturing, or broadcast-related company.</li><li>3+ years in a leadership role managing cross-functional operational teams.</li><li>Working knowledge of operational finance, budgeting processes, and basic financial controls.</li><li>Solid understanding of supply chain logistics, including international shipping and freight coordination.</li><li>Experience with ERP systems (Navision, SAP strongly preferred).</li><li>Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Excellent communication skills; comfortable working with global teams across time zones.</li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and collaboration platforms.</li><li>Hands-on, pragmatic, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.</li></ul><header><h2>Grow with us!</h2></header><div>Become part of our team!
