Job Duties: Proven ability to effectively manage multiple projects amid changing priorities in a fast-paced environment-Effective customer service skills-Ability to follow instructions and adhere to department and company policies and procedures-Mindful of maintaining safety in the work environment-Understanding of and effective use of blue prints, elevations, typicals and specifications having to do with Steelcase systems furniture and the ability to apply this knowledge to non-Steelcase systems.-Able to understand the electrical components of Steelcase system furniture (i.e., duplexes, triplexes, dedicated circuits, power poles, powerways, panel connectors, base power-ins), as well as the various types of electrical (i.e., 3 circuit, 3+D, 2+2, etc.). In such cases, the installer must have reliable means of transportation to arrive on time-Must be flexible with work schedules and locations as installers may be dispatched directly to the customer site-Position requires ownership/access to a reliable vehicle-Basic understanding of hand tools (manual and power) -Ability to meet established deadlines.
