Technicians will perform testing procedures on systems such as HVAC, brakes, propulsion, communication systems, toilet systems, trainline systems, signage systems, automatic train control, general functional testing, hipot testing, wiring continuity testing, pneumatic leakage testing, dynamic tests, burn-in tests, and more. The Field Technician must guide Function Test Technicians or Rail Car Technicians as needed, initiate support requests from vendors, engineering, or manufacturing, and update the supervisor as required.
