To qualify for this position, you need a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of comprehensive experience in the home building industry, reflecting thorough knowledge of construction, sales, warranty and land lease procedures, building codes, government approval processes and accounting procedures. Of course, working with your customers and your team is only the beginning, because you also need to be a numbers wizard: preparing all budgets, monitoring and approving order changes, and invoicing payments and costs to subcontractors and vendors.
