As a Camp Counselor, you will be an active participant in all camp activities and will assist your Camp Director with a variety of daily tasks, all with the goal of creating a memorable and meaningful camp experience for your campers. We partner with over 230 private clubs all over the country to implement traditional-style day camps for elementary-aged children.
p>Position Summary: The Grounds Crew/ Operator position is a part-time position that under the supervision of the course superintendent, assistant superintendents and equipment manager performs all aspects of maintenance to the grounds of Keith Hills Golf Club.
This role ensures that mowers, utility vehicles, small engines, and other turf equipment are operating safely and efficiently to support daily course operations.
Our resort includes three hotels (including two AAA Four-Diamond historic hotels), two nationally-acclaimed golf courses, a casino, two world-class spas, over a dozen food and beverage venues, meeting and event facilities, retail shops, horse stables, sporting clays range, bowling alley and more. Soon the Cook family, devoted preservationists who themselves led the restoration of many Indiana buildings, joined the cause and committed more than $600 million dollars to not only save West Baden Springs Hotel but also French Lick Springs Hotel.

The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:Recreation Leader I (Program Assistant): Set up and break down for courses including tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment and other related material and equipment; incorporate core recreation values into the activities in a developmentally appropriate manner; keep equipment, binder, and supplies in order, well maintained, and in the proper location; complete and submit paperwork accurately (timesheets, lesson plans, certifications, materials & supply requests, etcetera).Recreation Education: Possession of a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED or High School Proficiency Examination)Experience:Recreation Leader I requires 500 hours of recreation experience delivering instructions/programs;Recreation Leaders II and III require 1,000 hours of recreation experience delivering instruction/programs.
Each week, approximately 500 campers enjoy a week-long stay filled with a wide range of recreation activities such as a supervised swimming pool, a scenic lake for water activities, guided hiking excursions, organized recreation programs, and evening campfire entertainment. Considered by San Franciscans to be one of the City's most popular and effective public agencies, our Department currently manages more than 230 parks, playgrounds and open spaces throughout San Francisco, including two outside city limits-Sharp Park in Pacifica and Camp Mather in the High Sierras.
