It requires the ability to lift and carry items weighing 30+ lbs., work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, rain, cold), and navigating uneven or slick terrain such as turf, gravel, or pavement. This position involves frequent walking and standing for extended periods, regular operation of golf carts and repetitive tasks such as loading and unloading range balls.
This position requires working indoors and outside in all weather conditions, including rain, sun, and varying temperatures; using equipment; bending, reaching, stooping, climbing; and lifting items of up to 50 lbs. This position requires extended periods of physical labor outdoors, including walking, bending, kneeling, lifting heavy materials and equipment, and operating turf maintenance machinery. Ability to: Work with minimal supervision; understand and follow general work instructions; ability to work flexible schedule and hours each week; effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, customers, managers, and the general public; solve practical problems that may arise; and must be able to work outside for long periods of time and in all kinds of weather, performing tasks that require physical strength and endurance. p>Job Description: Incumbent performs a variety of duties required to maintain the cleanliness of assigned golf course grounds, gardens, equipment and buildings including mowing, aerating and weeding turf, cleaning restrooms, picking up trash, raking leaves, clearing sidewalks, and removing debris. Operated various types of handheld and light mechanical equipment including mowers, sweepers, blowers, and other grounds maintenance equipment.
