This role supports the determination of needed personnel, equipment, materials, and facilities, assists in establishing basic priorities and work sequences, and helps maintain a balanced workload among subordinates by properly distributing work projects and allotting manpower, equipment, and materials. Assisting in the oversight of shop-based machining and repair projects, which includes supporting the development of budgets and schedules, contractor selection, contract management, and interfacing with regulatory agencies.
