And when friends and family can gather to share a meal where everyone gets their favorite burger- that’s a mouthful of awesome!Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPeople Management:<ul><li>Demonstrates ability to attract, develop, and retain top talent with a passion for service, excellence, and quality.</li><li>Trains and develops leadership and team members by following MOOYAH Training Program, cross-training, pre-shift meetings, and required city/state/federal training (e.g., Food Safety Certifications, etc.).</li><li>Educates, communicates, and reinforces quality standards to all team members and leadership in the store.</li><li>Conducts timely and quality performance evaluations outlining strengths, opportunities, and merit recommendations.</li></ul>Operations Management:<ul><li>Ensures the restaurant is operating at the highest level of standards and is compliant with all state and federal government regulations.</li><li>Follows and enforces all restaurant operation guidelines as defined in the MOOYAH Operations Manual.</li><li>Responsible for the execution of all store systems (inventory control, accounting functions, equipment management, etc.).</li><li>Ensures the restaurant is accountable for successfully executing all quality control programs.</li><li>Maintains equipment for optimal performance.</li></ul>Financial Management:<ul><li>Ensures all budgeted sales and EBITDA restaurant objectives are met.</li><li>Manages sales goals versus budget and prior year.</li><li>Executes national and local marketing programs and new product rollouts.</li><li>Develops and implements appropriate plans to resolve unfavorable trends and increase sales.</li><li>Builds sales by promoting guest satisfaction.</li><li>Reviews schedules and payrolls both on a daily and weekly basis to control labor costs.</li></ul>Education and Work Experience Requirements:<ul><li>Documented and demonstrated skills of managing a food service establishment (fast food, fast casual, full-service) for a minimum of 3 years.</li><li>Minimum 5 years working in a restaurant, food service, or retail environment, showing career progression and verifiable results.</li><li>High School Diploma or GED required. Completing a Food Service Management or culinary program may substitute for a portion of the time-based experience needed for this role.</li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs and back-of house restaurant systems such as labor scheduling, inventory tracking systems, and ordering platforms.</li><li>Current Food Safety Manager Certification, or the ability to obtain required certifications within 30 days of hire.</li><li>Knowledge and skills in analyzing profit and loss statements and overall financial performance of the restaurant.</li><li>Ability to lead, motivate, and empower team members to higher levels of performance.</li><li>Ability to set goals, create plans, and convert plans into action.</li><li>Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.</li></ul>Preferred Skills:<ul><li>Spanish/English bilingual</li><li>Current Food Service Management Certification</li><li>Experience with franchisee relations</li></ul>Work Environment/Physical Demands:<ul><li>Regularly required to stand, walk, kneel, talk, and hear.</li><li>Regularly required to lift and carry products/boxes up to 70 pounds.</li><li>Consistently handles product preparation.</li><li>Ability to work around loud noises and in fast-paced environments.</li></ul>MOOYAH is an American fast casual restaurant chain headquartered in Plano, Texas.
