The successful candidate will also be expected to maintain an active program of research, seek extramural research funding, teach graduate level courses in the PhD program ( https://www.utrgv.edu/cla/academic-programs/clinical-pyschology-phdprogram/index.htm ) mentor graduate students in the PhD program in clinical psychology, and serve as a clinical supervisor to students. Applicants must present evidence of active research that includes publications in peer-reviewed journals; potential to effectively teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels; potential to supervise and mentor clinical and research activities of students; potential to maintain active programmatic research, and potential to obtain external grant funding.
