Our unit includes a 2-bed Level II nursery, where neonatal nurses care for babies who may need extra attention-like stabilization or support for newborns born at 35+ weeks. Consults with appropriate resources in a timely fashion regarding patients with complex care issues, unusual teaching needs and/or those at high risk for discharge planning.
We are building the enterprise software infrastructure to capture, catalog, refine, enrich, and protect massive datasets and make them available for real-time data analysis and AI training and inference. Multitask in myriad ways - document assessments, plan of care, interventions, evaluation and re-evaluation of patient status, assess nursing needs of acute and chronically ill patients, independently seek out resources and work collaboratively. All registered nurses without a Bachelors degree in Nursing (or higher) will be required to enroll in an appropriate BSN program within two years of their start date and to complete the program within seven years of their start date.

Licensure and Certification Required Current registration with North Carolina State Board of Nursing as a registered professional nurse OR current compact RN licensure to practice in the state of North Carolina required.
p>The position also works, as needed, with the three Assistant Directors in the Office of Biomedical Graduate Education (the Assistant Director of Biomedical Graduate Program Finance and Operations, the Assistant Director of Biomedical Graduate Program Admissions, or the Assistant Director of Biomedical Graduate Student Success) for specific project supervision.

Primary Purpose of Position The Assistant Professor (tenure-track) position will teach graduate and/or undergraduate courses in nutrition and dietetics through on-line instruction with some fac-to-face training of Future Education Model Graduate Program students; advise students; evaluate and grade students' assignments in a timely manner and offer appropriate and timely feedback to gauge students' progress; follow university timelines and procedures related to grading and submission of early warnings, mid-term and final examination grades; supervise/advise students research projects, thesis or internships; participate in normal functioning of the Department of Nutrition Sciences, College of Health and Sciences, and the University including participating in departmental meetings and university obligatory activities including events and student recruitment activities. The primary duties and responsibilities of the person in this position include designing and delivering three(3) Graduate Nutrition classes online asynchronous classes per semester or undergraduate synchronous courses as needed; prompt responses to student questions/ issues; academic advising; mentoring students; supervising thesis or internship projects; contributing to the development of implementation of new curricula and training opportunities for students in the Future Education Model Graduate Program; serving on department committees, recruiting; delivering classroom instruction that will include lectures, seminars, tutorials, assessing student coursework, and keeping office hours.Chemistry & Chemical Engineering - Graduates - AI Training.
