Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, feeding tube care, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, IV starts, nasal cannula and oxygen face mask use, non-invasive airway management, tracheostomy management, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac. Preferred skills: BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, chest tube management, high flow nasal cannula, PICC line management, phlebotomy, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration), pacemaker care, and total joint replacement care.
