Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Assist in the interpretation and analysis of various geologic data including boring logs, geophysical wireline logs, geophysical surveys, and more; Build geologic, hydrogeologic, and contaminant plume models using 3D geostatistical modeling software (primarily Leapfrog and Earth Volumetric Studio – EVS); Develop groundwater flow and contaminant fate and transport models using MODFLOW series tools; Perform statistical analyses of environmental data using a variety of software; Write and implement Python scripts to automate and customize workflows for a variety of tasks; Assist in the management and analysis of geologic, hydrogeologic, and contaminant data; Creation, use, and interpretation of defensible computational models and effective visualizations to be used as supporting tools to communicate complex problems to internal and external clients.
