The Division’s work spans major enforcement actions, administrative adjudications, mediation of tens of thousands of disputes each year, oversight of the Health Education and Advocacy Unit, administration of the Home Builder Registration and Guaranty Fund, data privacy enforcement, identity theft assistance, consumer outreach, and multistate and federal enforcement collaborations. The OAG also protects the public by civil enforcement of antitrust, civil rights, consumer protection, and securities laws and regulations and by the prosecution of organized crime, Medicaid fraud, environmental crimes, insurance fraud, state tax evasion, and other statutorily assigned matters.
