The position supports a diverse supply base providing products and services including sheet metal and fabricated components, machined parts, welded assemblies, copper and aluminum bus bars, pipe/tube components, castings, extrusions, electrical components, pumps, valves, heat exchangers, fasteners, coatings, chemicals, outsourced finishing, and mechanical/electromechanical assemblies. The Supplier Quality Engineer works closely with Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, Manufacturing Engineering, Design Engineering, NPI, Operations, Program Management, and suppliers to establish capable processes and prevent supplier defects from disrupting manufacturing or reaching customers.
