PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** + Conduct substance use screening and ongoing assessments + Develop treatment plans and strategies for achieving desired outcomes + Coordinate treatment and referral services + Provide individual, group, and family counseling + Deliver education and consultation to healthcare staff on substance use issues + Facilitate Integrated Brief Interventions (assessment, feedback, referrals, follow-up) + Maintain knowledge of community referral resources, especially for low-income patients + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and program evaluations + Maintain accurate clinical and billing records + Ensure compliance with diagnostic and placement criteria **REQUIREMENTS** + A Master's Degree in behavioral sciences, such as psychology, psychiatric nursing, occupational therapy, vocational or educational counseling, or social work OR Bachelor's Degree in nursing or a behavioral science AND three years' of experience in the direct delivery of professional mental health care.
