Education: Required to have at least one of the following: completion of an EMT program, completion of a Surgical Technologist program, current or previous licensure as a paramedic, previous experience in tissue or organ recoveries, experience in an allied health field such as (embalming, physiology, anatomy, mortuary sciences, surgical, EMS, EMT, ER Technologist, paramedic, pathology, nursing), CEBT or CTBS Certifications, or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Performs facility cleaning and maintenance such as but not limited to cleaning, disinfecting, and mopping in the Supply Depot, Recovery OR, Morgue, Pre-Prep Staging room, tissue shipping/lab room, coroner office recovery suite, and other areas as needed.
