Job Title: Operating Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: Must have active Illinois license Certifications: BLS required, CNOR preferred Must-Have: - General OR and Trauma experience required - Cerner experience preferred - Level I trauma experience required - Required case experience in bariatric, general surgery, neurology, orthopedic, plastic surgery, transplant, urology, and trauma - Emergency management skills and knowledge of equipment and instrumentation Description: Position specializes in the operating room. Candidates must have experience with various surgical procedures including laparoscopic-assisted cases, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, colon resection, hernia repair, mastectomy, thyroidectomy, cervical fusion, craniotomy, arthroscopy, amputations, and code response.
