Required Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; current New York State Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; ability to provide quality patient care, assess clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs, recognize safety concerns, use patient lifts safely, function effectively in stressful situations, prioritize and delegate, and demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; preceptorship, charge, and leadership abilities; lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills; knowledge of clinical equipment and instrumentation used to maintain a safe and aseptic operating room environment.
