IAVI is seeking a Veterinary Technician responsible for handling research animals, including rodents, rabbits, and non-human primates, and performing animal procedures such as anesthesia administration and monitoring, compound administration, blood collection, tissue collection, health observations, and medical record maintenance. Because preclinical studies are designed to evaluate experimental vaccines, the Technician will work with live and/or attenuated viruses and specimens from infected animals under BSL-2+ containment conditions, following applicable biosafety procedures and institutional requirements.
