RESPONSIBILITIES: PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Brown University Health employees exemplify our values of Compassion, Accountability, Respect, and Excellence in all interactions with patients, families, and team members Responds to emergency situations (Code Blue, Rapid Response, Code Stroke, Code Triage) as delegated by Nursing Leadership to provide critical care assessment and interventions to manage patients in decline until they can be transitioned to the appropriate level of care. SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Manager/ Director (or designee) implements, the Emergency Response Nurse (ERN) supervises and evaluates the nursing care of each patient undergoing an emergency until the patient is stabilized or transitioned to the appropriate level of care.
