Qualifications: 5+ years of HR experience, including significant hands-on work managing employee health benefits Strong working knowledge of health plan mechanics: deductibles, out-of-pocket maximums, drug tiers, HSA/FSA distinctions, co-pay structures ICHRA or individual marketplace benefits experience strongly preferred Strong interpersonal, communication, follow-up, problem solving, and creative thinking skills Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task with attention to detail Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Self-motivated, team player with excellent people skills High level of discretion with confidential material. Explains out-of-pocket maximums, Tier 1 versus Tier 2 drug coverage, HSA versus FSA options, and co-pay structures across a wide range of plan types Organizes annual open enrollment communications and election process Assists with maintaining compliance with ICHRA regulations, IRS affordability requirements, and applicable federal, state, and local benefits law Acts as the trusted resource for employees, supervisors, and managers on all benefits-related questions Maintains accurate benefits enrollment and stipend data across multiple spreadsheets and systems Produces regular benefits reporting and analytics for the HR Manager and Director of People Operations 70% Benefits administration and other 30% other HR functions.
