Essential Job Summary: Our Yellow Iron Diesel Technicians/Mechanics perform inspection, diagnosis, preventative maintenance, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment, primarily including yellow iron machinery, diesel heavy trucks and engines. The Yellow Iron Diesel Technician/Mechanic will primarily be working out of our Transfer Station located at E. 132 nd St in the Bronx, NY, however occasional travel to other sites to pick up parts as well as assisting with emergency breakdowns may be required.
