1 Assists with troubleshooting; observes and supports all troubleshooting activities, including identifying, detailing, and recording issues for various trades workers, such as mechanical, technical, and general labor or other maintenance or construction-related problems across various sites (e.g., airport zones, city streets, parks, waste management centers, and facilities). Under direct and immediate supervision, the Trades Helper supports and assists with the installation, repair, operation, and maintenance of city properties and facilities, including but not limited to plumbing, carpentry, electrical, paint, welding, roofing, equipment operation, mechanical, and automotive properties of the City of Dallas, in compliance with federal, state, and city codes.
