The Service Helper spends the day supporting the Service Lead by carrying tools & materials, preparing plumbing fittings, netting, digging, etc. The goal is for the Helper to learn, prove themselves, and qualify for promotion to a Service Lead, Maintenance Tech, or to the Construction Crew in the coming seasons.

Position: Service Helper 
Hours: Monday  Friday 7:30 to 3:30p  
Pay: $17-$19 / hour 
Job Type: Temp for 3-6 weeks 
Location: Woodstock, NY 
We are hiring a Service Helper to assist with pool openings, repairs and closings. The Service Helper spends the day supporting the Service Lead by carrying tools & materials, preparing plumbing fittings, netting, digging, etc. 
The Service Helper is an entry-level position. No prior pool experience is required- well train you. The goal is for the Helper to learn, prove themselves, and qualify for promotion to a Service Lead, Maintenance Tech, or to the Construction Crew in the coming seasons. 
If youre mechanically inclined, love working with your hands, and enjoy being outdoors, this job is for you! What youll do:<ul><li>Open & close pools
	</li><li>Repair pumps, heaters, filters, and chlorination systems
	</li><li>Replace PVC plumbing 
	</li><li>Use tools like saws, drills, torches, and standard hand tools
	</li><li>Lift and carry up to 50lbs over uneven ground
	</li><li>Work in tight spaces
