The History Philosophy Political Science Department at UC Blue Ash invites applicants for our History Adjunct faculty general pool of candidates from which part-time faculty will be selected for the upcoming term as needed.The University of Cincinnati Blue Ash College is one of the largest regional colleges in Ohio. The college is in Blue Ash Ohio fifteen miles north of the uptown campus on 135 acres in a park-like setting. We offer primarily associate degrees in career and transition programs as well as general education courses and technical baccalaureate degrees to approximately 5100 students. Part-time faculty must be able to teach American or World History survey courses as well as other introductory and advanced history courses.Adjunct faculty members will be expected to 1 use our course management system Canvas and any textbook-specific systems 2 hold regular office hours to meet with students and reply to student communications in a timely manner and 3 participate in at least one professional development workshop per year.Classes may be offered day or evening. This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.Essential Functions
On a part-time basis teach assigned undergraduate courses.Using best practices continually evaluate student coursework.Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of their responsibilities.Review and respond in a timely manner to all University-related and student communications.Other related duties as assigned.Required Education

Job Summary
WSU School of Fine and Performing Arts is accepting applications for adjunct teaching positions for Fall 2026 through Summer 2027 academic year. Individuals with academic and performance qualifications are encouraged to apply for positions in Art and Art History.Minimum Qualifications
Professional experience or academic qualifications covering subject matter taught within the Fine and Performing Arts. Applicant must possess an academic degree one level above the level at which they will teach except in programs for terminal degrees or when equivalent experience is established. In terminal degree programs adjunct faculty must possess the same level of degree. If teaching outside field of their advanced degree adjuncts must have completed at least 18 graduate level credit hours of instruction in the field where they teach. At least 1 year professional or teaching experience or the equivalent.Preferred Qualifications
