The home care primary nurse may delegate some direct care, data collection, and nursing assessment responsibilities to other nurses and nursing assistants on the team but retains responsibility for ensuring that interventions are carried out in accordance with the participant’s care plan and the orders of the participant’s medical providers. Their efforts along with tireless work of our frontline staff have led to more than 100,000 vaccine doses administered in neighborhoods hit hardest by the pandemic including East Boston, Chelsea, Revere, Winthrop, Everett, and the South End.
