On each visit you will provide skilled home infusion therapy, including IV medications, biologics, IVIG, antibiotics and hydration, in line with physician orders and pharmacy protocols: assessing the patient before, during and after the infusion, starting and managing peripheral IVs and caring for PICC lines, ports and other vascular access devices within your scope and competency, and watching for and responding to adverse reactions. This role also requires strong patient assessment, documentation and education skills; the ability to work independently in patients’ homes; a smartphone and reliable internet access for scheduling and electronic documentation; and the ability to meet applicable background, health-screening and employment-compliance requirements.
