As a graduate of the University of Vermont in 1997, his ambition has been to create diverse and beautiful gardens and outdoor spaces for clients across Vermont. We're a 25-30 person team of gardeners, lawn- and snow-care professionals, masons, and landscape designers who build and maintain creative landscapes for our customers. Join our team at Church Hill Landscapes, Inc. as aLandscape Construction Project Technicianand play a pivotal role in our landscape construction projects. You will be working alongside a dedicated team, operating heavy machinery, and using power tools to bring our projects to life. This position offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, where strength, stamina, and a commitment to quality and safety are key. We pride ourselves on our commitment to exceeding client expectations and maintaining a safe and efficient worksite. ## Responsibilities - Assist in all aspects of landscape construction projects, including building, assembling, and planting. - Prepare job-sites prior to the beginning of a project. - Operate various tools and equipment safely and responsibly. - Perform regular preventative maintenance on tools and equipment. - Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment required for projects. - Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly jobsite at all times. ## Qualifications - Minimum of 1 year experience in the landscape/construction industry. - Proficiency in operating required equipment and tools. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Strong time management skills. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. - Willingness to receive training and learn proper installation techniques, efficient jobsite operations, and equipment/vehicle operation. - Physical ability to walk, stand, and crouch for long periods of time and carry out strenuous tasks. ## Compensation Starting wage range for this position is$19-$25/hr,depending on experience ## Benefits - Paid holidays - 5 days paid vacation time during the first year - 10 days paid vacation off after 12 months - Paid sick time - Dental Insurance - Medical/wellness contribution - Cell phone stipend - Simple IRA with up to 3% company contributionafter 12 months - Company provided PPE ###### Offered compensation: ###### $19/hr - $25/hr ##### Experience and License Requirements - Landscape/construction - 1 yr (optional) - Ability to operate equipment/tools (optional) - Effective communication skills (written/verbal) (optional) - Ability to lift 50lbs (optional) - Valid Driver's License (optional)
