Additional Information: Provides care for patients recovering from screening colonoscopies, upper endoscopy procedures, hernia repairs, laparoscopic gallbladder removal, laparoscopic appendectomy, bowel obstruction procedures, arthroscopies, total joint replacements, open reduction and internal fixation, trauma procedures, tubal ligations, hysterectomies, cesarean sections, ear, nose, and throat procedures, and urologic procedures. Responsibilities include airway assessment, care of ventilated patients, extubation, conscious sedation monitoring, pain assessment and management, medication reconciliation, intravenous therapy, central line care, wound vacuum management, discharge education, and follow-up calls.
