Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) with two years of experience, including telemetry experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications; competency with tracheostomy and laryngectomy care, chest tubes, central lines, intravenous starts, blood draws, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and management of Cardizem, heparin, insulin, Lasix, and occasional dobutamine infusions; ability to care for orthopedic, airway, spinal, medical overflow, dialysis, wound care, isolation, and patients receiving intravenous antibiotics. The position provides care for surgical and medical overflow patients, including orthopedic joint replacements, ear, nose, and throat procedures, spinal procedures, dialysis, wound care, isolation, and patients receiving intravenous antibiotics.
