Responsibilities include fetal monitoring, conducting biophysical profiles, lactation counseling, facilitating visits with and without providers (including home visits), providing health education sessions, customizing educational activities, implementing care plans from providers, attending community events, and coordinating resources based on patients' individualized needs. Frequent interactions with patient care providers, patients, and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, alarms, needs, and issues quickly and accurately, particularly during emergency situations.
