This may include procedures such as central line insertion and management, arterial line placement and interpretation, intubation support, ventilator management, suturing and wound care, chest tube insertion, management, and removal, diagnostic and therapeutic lumbar punctures (where credentialed). The Nurse Practitioner (NP) will function independently or in collaboration with the Covenant HealthCare physician team to provide comprehensive medical care for patients hospitalized to diagnosis, treat, manage, and facilitate care transitions throughout the patient's hospital stay.
