Delivers or arranges spiritual care to patients and families; this includes assessing spiritual needs, responding to referrals, leading groups, providing care during end-of-life and crisis situations, and effectively documenting each encounter in the electronic medical record. Supports an interdisciplinary approach to spiritual care by regularly participating in team rounds and meetings, serving on committees, and working to ensure that the unique spiritual, religious, and cultural needs of patients, families, and employees are addressed.
