Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field and/ or equivalent experienceA minimum of two (2) years experience providing Case Management services to the homeless population is requiredCurrent, valid California Driver's License with an acceptable driving recordMinimum two (2) years of experience in a nonprofit setting at an agency that provides services to individuals that have a history of homeless, mentally illness, or are dually diagnosedSkilled in non-violent crisis interventionDemonstrated knowledge of issues faced by population servedDetail-oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, presentation, teambuilding and computer skillsDemonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and to work independently and creativelyDetail oriented with excellent time management, organizational, written, verbal, interpersonal, team building, and computer skillsAbility to provide some evening and weekend hours to ensure continuity of careOn-call 24/7 a requirementProficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and database applicationsAble to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid certification. Work Environment: Combination of field and office environmentOn occasion walk or drive to different local sitesRegularly required to sit, stand, bend and occasionally lift or carry up to 35 poundsWill necessitate working in busy and at times loud environmentsWill be exposed to elements like cold, heat, dust, noise and odorMay need to bend, stoop, twist, and sit throughout the dayRegular exposure to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental health conditions, and substance use disorders.
