The HM conducts house and room checks, answers the telephone, greets visitors, checks-in new residents, checks-out departing residents, prepares a House report, manages sign-in logs, calls residents to meals, and monitors mealtimes, responds to emergencies to ensure, if necessary, residents are evacuated safely and efficiently, responds to residents needs and requests, and is responsible for shift specific activities.
