On a mission critical project the MEP package carries the technical risk and the critical path: electrical distribution, switchgear, uninterruptible power supply systems, generators, and mechanical cooling are what the facility is built to house, and their equipment lead times set the schedule everyone else works backward from. Manages long lead equipment procurement, including switchgear, generators, uninterruptible power supply systems, chillers, and air handling equipment, and holds vendors to submittal, fabrication, factory witness testing, and delivery commitments.
