In addition, as a working lead, this position will be responsible for, but not restricted to: conducting area inspections and reports, on-the-job training for housekeepers; conducting performance reviews, requisitioning and distributing supplies, equipment and materials; relaying instructions from the manager or assistant manager; determining the need for special project cleaning work; leading and overseeing a group of housekeeping workers. May be assigned to work in the vicinity of laboratories that may contain biohazards, radioactive or other potentially hazardous substances where detectable amounts of chemicals and materials, known to the State of California, to cause cancer or birth defects or other reproductive harm can be found.
