Reports to: Principal Salary Range: $48,703- $100,722 per year Employment Terms: Full-Time, 10-Month Bargaining Unit: NEW LONDON EDUCATION ASSOCIATION Position Overview: Provides instruction and is responsible for student learning for identified special education students during a particular time period in all core content subjects Typical Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) by assessing student needs, collaborating with families and multidisciplinary teams, and delivering specialized instruction that supports academic, behavioral, social, and functional growth. Minimum Requirements: Must hold a valid Connecticut State Department of Education (CSDE) educator certificate with an endorsement in one or more of the following endorsement areas: 051 (112), 053 (112), 065 (112), 165 (112), 265 (112), or another applicable endorsement appropriate for the assignment.
