Operating Log splitters, woodchippers, chainsaws, weed trimmers, pressure washers, air compressors, cart washers, wash bay equipment, and other equipment used by the Refuse Division; performing daily equipment inspections and routine preventive maintenance; reporting equipment deficiencies and repair needs; safely loading, unloading, processing, moving, and stocking green waste products; maintaining facility grounds, work areas, tools, and equipment in a clean, safe, and organized condition; Provides courteous and professional customer service to residents and visitors. Follows OSHA requirements and all City and departmental safety policies and procedures, uses required personal protective equipment, and works safely around customers, vehicles, moving equipment, and powered machinery such as Log splitter, woodchipper, chainsaws, weed trimmers, pressure washers, air compressors, cart washers, wash bay equipment, and other equipment used by the Refuse Division.
