This position serves primarily to make repairs, corrections, and perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical, HVAC, and other mechanical equipment; make repairs to general building facilities, including, but not limited to, general carpentry repairs, repairs to ceiling and floor coverings, doors, windows, and furniture; perform minor paint and patch work. This is a skilled technical work at the journeyman level involving operating, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing building HVAC systems and components, including but not limited to chillers, air handlers, terminal units, water coils, pumps, valves, motor starters, and other related equipment.
