Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check to obtain site badge Experience with BMS systems and HVAC energy optimization strategies Ten (10) years experience working on commercial HVAC systems HVAC journeyman license preferred Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, preferred Knowledge of local and federal HVAC regulations Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and building management systems (BMS) Strong knowledge of HVAC controls, energy management systems, and refrigeration equipment Facilities Maintenance, or related field preferred Ability to complete maintenance and basic troubleshooting EPA/CFC Refrigerant Handling Certification required Completed coursework in HVAC areas Must have working knowledge of 480V and below electrical systems, HVAC and plumbing systems Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor Must be detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced work environment Valid drivers licens EOE, including disability/veterans. Job Duties Oversee Install, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain HVAC systems, including: • Condensers • Compressors • Evaporators • Motors • Chillers • Cooling towers • Heat pumps • Air handlers • Fans • Dampers • Duct systems • DX units • Filters • Valves • Gear boxes • and associated piping.
