Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of the principles and practices used to perform procedures as a Licensed Dental Hygienist; Knowledge of the information and techniques needed to diagnose and treat injuries, diseases, and deformities, including treatment alternatives, drug properties and interactions, and preventative healthcare measures; Knowledge of dental terminology; Knowledge of correct spelling, punctuation and grammar usage. Preferred - 1-3 years of experience practicing as a Licensed Hygienist, 1-3 years experience providing dental services to youth with special needs, Ability to speak basic dental terminology in Spanish, Experience and knowledge of testing and shocking water and evacuation lines for dental equipment.
