Skills in neuro checks, cardiac rhythm interpretation, art lines, vented patient management, chest tubes, ABG interpretation, trachs, code response, critical drip titration, foley and NG tube insertion/care, and IV insertion required. Supported by CNAs, part-time HUC, charge nurse/CPR captain, 24/7 RT, hospitalist, and intensivist coverage, MD/DNP/PA residents, in-unit tele clerk, daytime pharmacist, and PT/OT/SLP.
